Our custom shop can handle all your commercial cabinetry and Corian/Laminate countertop needs- for retailers, schools, hospitals, apartments, duplexes, store front kits, etc.
We also work with local restoration companies like Servpro and National Restoration- in both areas to repair or replace damaged cabinetry. We work with the restoration company and insurance company to turn something unfortunate into a beneficial restoration project for you!
As a custom shop, we offer a variety of options to fit the needs and budget of each individual client.
Choices range from custom cabinetry built to house your collection of gourmet cooking supplies; dual-fuel ranges nested below a hearth-style hood; multi-tasking furniture-styled island that hides discreet dishwasher drawers; eye-catching countertops; sleek wine storage; that special niche for sorting the daily mail and surfing the web; to a functional, beautiful space that helps you sell your home more efficiently.
Kitchen design or redesign can be very exciting. But the options, finishes, and configurations abound, and can be daunting! So before undertaking a kitchen renovation, take time to think through your desired changes by assessing your needs, your habits, and your lifestyle with respect to your kitchen space.

We work closely with designers to bring to life their vision. Are you an interior designer who wants more freedom to create? Let us handle the heavy lifting and the "how are we going to make that happen" thinking.
You will need a tape measure, paper (gridded is best), a pencil, and a camera.
Before beginning, record how the room looks by taking photographs from all angles.
Start from left to right, measuring the full length of the first wall, then the second. Ignore everything else like cabinets, outlets, appliances. Just measure and record the wall length.
Now you will want to note where your window(s) are. Measure from the corner of the room to the casing of the window and draw it on your paper. Then measure from casing to casing of the window to show how wide the window is. Do the same for any appliances that cannot or you will not be moving.
Measure and mark where you currently have plumbing, vents and outlets. You can also mark down your current sink location.
Finally, measure your kitchen wall height. Do this for each corner and the middle of each wall. If you currently have them, measure and mark down where you have any soffits or recess ceilings.

This question is crucial to deciding the quality and cost of goods for the project- more on this in a bit!
Sticking with the same layout is always the most economical option. However, if you want to change the layout- be aware of extra costs: electrical, plumbing, flooring, framing, drywall, paint, etc. Layout changes typically require a permit and possibly architectural drawings.
Essential question! Even if you don't want to max out your budget, be prepared to discuss your allowance with the contractor. A reliable contractor will be able to work with your budget and your preferences to create the kitchen you really want. Realistic expectations and budgets are easier to work with up front- otherwise, cutting corners may end up costing you more in the long run, leaving you with an unfinished project.
A qualified builder will guarantee a professionally finished product that will meet your budgeted expectations and time-frames.
BEWARE of hiring a builder without a contractor's license. Without it, you have little to no recourse if problems arise.
The purpose of remodeling or building a home is to increase the value in the home itself as well as create a space for those who will live there to enjoy.
BEWARE of hiring someone who doesn't have the ability to make that happen or someone who doesn't care to make it happen.
If you're looking to resell or make a return on the remodel, design something with massive appeal- not something selective to just your taste.
To get ideas, think about scoping out remodels or houses for sale around your neighborhood- stay in competition with those upgrades to ensure maximum ROI.
How big of project can you afford; what is your time-frame for the construction period? This is when having a budget is helpful for a contractor. You may have certain desires for you space and the time-frame you wish to make it happen- but a limited budget. A qualified contractor will be able to take your ideas and the reality of building supplies, and create a crafty alternative that you'd love!
Once the layout is agreed on... we get to the fun part! What kind of cabinets do you want? Builder grade cabinetry should be the lowest quality that you would put into any project. Upgrades vary and include all materials and quality of craftsmanship. You and your contractor will work together, and can discuss common upgrades.
